Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 5 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday witnessed the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and launched an eco-friendly campaign ahead of the festive season.
An MoU was signed between Rajya Anand Sansthan, Bhopal; Deendayal Shodh Sansthan, Chitrakoot; and Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Bhopal to strengthen collaborative initiatives aimed at community empowerment and research-based social programmes.
In addition, a bilateral MoU was also inked between Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Bhopal and Narmada Samagra, Bhopal, to support sustainable development initiatives, particularly in the Narmada river region.
On the occasion, CM Yadav also launched the ‘Mati Ganesh Siddh Ganesh’ campaign, an initiative of the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad to promote the use of eco-friendly Ganesh idols made of clay.
Speaking to the reporters after the MoU signing, CM Yadav highlighted the long-standing contribution of Narmada Samagra in preserving the environment.
He said, “Our government promotes and encourages many things in many ways regarding the environment. The state government is working equally in all such areas. Narmada Samagra has been working for years to protect the environment. Today, an MoU was signed between Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Narmada Samagra.”
The Chief Minister said the latest collaboration will support the ‘Mati Ganesh Siddh Ganesh’ campaign.
He said, “They are not only expanding the work on this but are also doing a great job by making more than 10 lakh Ganesh idols in the entire state through the government.”
The MP CM also commended the work of Deendayal Shodh Sansthan saying, “Deendayal Sansthan has also been working on the environment for years…Deendayal Swasthya Sansthan, Bharat Ratna, along with all the institutions, has been doing great work in many such areas.”
Earlier this week, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone of six industrial units, which will invest about Rs 1600 crore and generate over 1080 employment opportunities in Sehore district.
CM Yadav also distributed a letter of intent for land allotment to the industrial units during a program held in Badiyakhedi, Sehore, on Saturday.
According to an official release, the industrial units whose bhoomi pujan was performed and allotted land includes, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd which is setting up Asia’s largest single-location transformer manufacturing unit at Jahangirpur, Sehore, with an investment of Rs 888 crore on 18.26 hectares of land, expected to create around 400 jobs.
