Kurukshetra (Haryana) [India], June 1 (ANI): Calling Operation Sindoor the valour of the Indian Armed Forces (IAF), Yog Guru Baba Ramdev said that the operation symbolises the unity and integrity of the country.
Speaking to ANI, Baba Ramdev said that India is well aware of how to protect its borders and its nation.
“We have killed them (terrorists) by entering 100-200 kilometres inside their home. PM Modi said that Operation Sindoor had not stopped. Operation Sindoor is the valour of our army. It is a symbol of the unity and integrity of the country, and this is the army of the new India. India knows how to protect its borders and its nation,” he told ANI.
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, including one Nepali citizen.
Yog guru Baba Ramdev further said that India is, by nature, a Hindu nation. He said, in the coming times, he aims to connect 500 crore people of the world with yoga, spirituality and the values of Sanatan.
“India is a Hindu nation by nature, and the ancestors of those who call themselves Muslims, Christians or by any other name were also Hindus, Indians and worshippers of nature and culture; this is the ultimate truth. Now, gradually, everyone has started believing this… In the coming times, our aim is to connect more than 500 crore people of the whole world with yoga, spirituality and the values of Sanatan and this is the world victory journey of Sanatan Dharma,’ Baba Ramdev asserted.
Earlier, backing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s push for locally made products, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has called on citizens to wholeheartedly adopt ‘Swadeshi’ (indigenous) goods and services to help build a stronger and self-reliant India.
Highlighting the economic dimension of the Swadeshi movement, Ramdev urged citizens to boycott products from China, the United States, and Europe.
Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Ramdev said, “The people should support PM Modi’s call for ‘swadeshi’ products because the PM wants to achieve the aim of the ‘Viksit Bharat’ and wants to make the country an economic and spiritual superpower. To achieve this, we need to boycott products from China, the US, and Europe. The day India starts using ‘swadeshi’, our economy will get stronger, and the Indian rupee will also become stronger against the Dollar, Pound, and Euro.”
He also emphasised the importance of embracing traditional Indian practices in healthcare. “In the health sector, we should opt for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy,” he said.
Ramdev also appealed to Indians to reconsider travel to foreign countries, particularly those he claimed are involved in anti-India activities. “We should avoid making trips to foreign nations, specifically to countries like Turkey.” (ANI)
